If you are aware of the ingredients in each and every edible substance, you more than likely have a food allergy.  The rest of the world doesn’t always accommodate for allergies and it’s often up to individual people to find what works best for them.  Gluten-free people have to stay away from wheat and lactose intolerant people have to stay away from milk and when they find a quality food they can eat, they hold on tight.

The Good News: Grandma’s Lye Soap doesn’t contain gluten or dairy!! (But DO NOT eat it either way!)

If you are gluten intolerant and having problems with your skin or scalp, check the ingredients in your soap and shampoo to see if there is any form of wheat in it. It still could be affecting you even if you are not ingesting it.
