Skin and Exercise

Some people may think that exercise makes their acne worse. This would be something to talk about with your physician.

Tips from non-medical professionals:

  • Shower soon after working out to lessen the time sweat and dirt are on skin. 
  • Wear loose-fitting clothing (if possible for your sport/workout) to allow pores to breathe
  • Exercise is part of a balanced lifestyle and may help with other health problems that in turn could help your skin
